The most amazing Google Glass app the world has ever seen
Researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology this week unveiled a fantastic project they have been working on. Dubbed “Captioning on Glass,” the app uses a combination of Google’s connected eyewear and an Android smartphone to convert speech to text and display captions on Google Glass in near real-time.
In other words, it can provide real-life subtitles for the hearing impared.

Intel, Mitsubishi Electric to develop factory automation systems using IoT
Intel on Tuesday announced that it is working with Mitsubishi Electric to advance factory automation (FA) systems utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity and big data analytics. The companies are targeting product availability in 2015. Following a pilot at Intel’s manufacturing facility in Malaysia, demonstrating the benefits of IoT, Intel realized $9 million in savings through cost avoidance and improved decision making.

World's First 3D Printed Car Took Years to Design, But Only 44 hours to print
One day, in the not-too-distant future, you’ll be able to walk into a car dealership, choose a design — including the number of seats — and have a 3D printed car by the end of the day. This is Jay Rogers’ vision. Rogers is the CEO of Local Motors, the company that just built the world's first 3D printed car known as the Strati.
